BASE MOUNT CIRCUIT ISOLATOR In the event of short circuit on the detector loop the Isolators either side of the loop will defect the problem and open circuit and isolates the faulty part of the loop, enabling other devices on the unaffected part of the loop to operate normally. The module will continue to monitor for the fault to be repaired, once the fault is cleared the isolator will automatically reinstate the effected part of the loop. CONVENTIONAL ZONE INTERFACE MODULE Conventional zone interface module is fully loop powered and enables existing or new conventional zones to be interfaced to an addressable system. Through its interface, each zone is assigned a unique address. Status conditions are reported as normal, open or alarm. The device uses state of the art technology and can be easily installed to satisfy demanding applications making the product universally acceptable. INPUT MODULE Intelligent Input Module is used to receive normally open or normally closed control signals from interfaced equipment, and transmit the messages back to fire alarm control panel. The units ideal for use in water flow indicator, pressure switch, position switch, signal valves and external interface devices. When these devices operate, the output signal can be transmitted to fire alarm control panel via the module through the fire alarm loop to generate alarm, and activate other relevant devices. INPUT/OUTPUT MODULE Intelligent addressable input/output module. A single volt free relay with N/O and N/C change over contacts that can be driven via the fire alarm loop. Commonly used for overriding equipment such as AHU’s, Smoke extracts, Lift returns, auto dialer, BMS, etc. The input can be linked through a volt free contact switch output of ancillary equipment reporting to the fire alarm controller. According to the pre-inputted cause and effects interface programming, the alarm controller sends out a start command to the equipment required to start. After receiving the command, the module activates its relay to change state. Once the equipment under control has operated a confirmation signal can be sent back to the fire alarm controller. INPUT/OUTPUT MODULE LOOP POWERED Intelligent addressable input/output module loop powered. A single volt free relay with N/O and N/C change over contacts that can be driven via the fire alarm loop. Commonly used for overriding equipment such as AHU’s, Lift auto dialer, BMS and etc. INTERPOSING RELAY MODULE Relay Module is a non-addressable module, used together with Intelligent module to control the activating devices with higher current capacity and transforming control of AC 220V devices in order to avoid mixing of DC and AC voltages to isolate the loop. MULTI CHANNEL INTERFACE Addressable Multi-Channel Interface can communicate with fire alarm control panel (FACP), monitor power supply, and judge the logic state of input signal, control output and state indicators. Each output channel occupies an individual address and receives start command from FACP, energizes the related relay, gives dry contact output and lights the related action indicator. Each input is corresponded to an address to receive the state signal from the equipment and transmit it to FACP. The quantity of channels can be set by jumpers SHORT CIRCUIT ISOLATOR Addressable Short Circuit isolator module is designed to be used in addressable system communication loop to create a segment. In practice, this unit is fixed every 20 to 25 devices; depending on site. It detects the short circuit and isolates the segment where short circuit exists enabling all other segment to work without interruption. This addressable unit also communicates the location of fault to the control panel for audio-visual indication. The unit checks the status every 5 seconds. If the fault is rectified automatically, it resets the segment back to operation. SOUNDER DRIVER Intelligent Sounder Circuit Module is used to make addressable control the pre-alarm sound and fire alarm sound or conventional sounder/bells. The module incorporates a cable monitoring incorporates a cable monitoring function. When there is short circuit, open circuit or power cut, the module will give fault indication, and the controller displays a fault condition. Two continuously addresses are incorporated. If the 1st address is active, the module will switch output at ALERT mode, 0.25s ON and 0.75s OFF. If the 2nd address is active, the output will be in EVACUATE mode, 0.25s ON and 0.25s OFF. The 2nd address will override the 1st one. It means EVACUATE has the high priority. VOICE ALARM CONTROL MODULE Voice Alarm Zone Control Module is used to switch between normal broadcasting and fire alarm broadcasting in bus type fire alarm broadcasting system. It switches both channels. It can receive incoming answering signal and self-answer after switching to fire alarm broadcasting and transmit the switching signal back to fire alarm control panel to show successful switching. ZONE MONITOR UNIT Intelligent zone monitor unit is an addressable interface module, which will integrate conventional detectors or conventional manual call points to addressable system. When any of the connected devices alarms are active, the unit can send the alarm message to fire alarm controller, which generates alarm signal and displays its address. The unit can match with the conventional optical smoke detector, conventional rate of rise and fixed temperature detector and conventional manual call point etc. It has the function of checking short or open circuit of the output connection, by the End of Line Resistor (EOLR) or Active End of Line unit (AEOL recommended). The fault massage includes open circuit, short circuit or any removal of the detectors.
